Vairamuthu's son Kabilan Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics for a song in Yuvan Shankar Raja's score for Vishnuvardhan's untitled project with Ajith. Kabilan's elder brother Madhan Karky is among the foremost lyricists in the industry today. Kabilan recalled that he had spent a lot of fun times with Yuvan in the recording studio when they were kids during the heydays of their respective fathers, Vairamuthu and Ilayaraja, who were among the best combinations in the industry. Vairamuthu and Ilayaraja have come up with many unforgettable songs which will be etched forever in the history of Tamil cinema.
